Crafted from carefully selected Birch hardwood, the lyre's body boasts resonant properties and exceptional durability. Through an electrical approach to its design, I had the opportunity to create an ergonomically comfortable instrument with an asymmetrical, sleek curvature. Utilizing electric strings with pickups beneath each, it captures every note, producing a rich, full-bodied sound, while conveniently positioned controls on the lower body offer precise adjustments. What sets this lyre apart is the fusion of traditional wood and striking glossy black acrylic materials, resulting in a visually stunning instrument. This electric guitar lyre represents a harmonious blend of modern and traditional elements, culminating in a powerful and captivating musical experience.
