Background
Subways are commonly used by many in a daily basis. I observed how people behave in the carts, where I found some sitting down and others stand or lean against walls. Based on these observations, I designed a new subway seating that can be easily installed in pre-existing subway structures.

Objective
The objective was to create an easy-install chair that accommodates different preferences of how passengers choose to ride the subway. It was designed to adapt to the current New York MTA Subway environment.

Final Product
L Chair has an easy and cheap manufacturing process of rotomolding, mold casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
